Blinding light and butterflies,
I daily dreamt of this daydream.
Our worlds melding,
eyes catching,
magnets meeting,
true love realized.
And then...the dream became reality.
Magically we met.
For a mere moment,
the world stopped
and everything was perfectly, completely
different.
The secrets of the world,
the complete orders and designs,
and all questions,
were revealed.
I felt aware of all things:
every scent, sight, sound, and sensation.
His soothing cologne,
his chocolate eyes,
his gentle voice,
his warm hand in mine.
But then the moment ended,
and the world began turning once more.
Reality set back in
as he disappeared,
without even taking my memory.
So now,
as I sit alone,
everthing is different,
yet everything is still
the same.
